Surrealism Idea
What i would like to do since i throw for the track team i thought it would be cool to throw a javelin and when editing the picture i would make the javelin turn into a lightning bolt and i would like to use a night sky which is very cloudy also. And i would see what other masculine things i could use.

Surrealist Artists
Paul Klee: He was born on December 18, 1887; He painted on a daily basis. He also had at least 8,926 works of art which is obviously a lot. He also loved cats, majority of his works of art the all consisted of simple lines and strong colors. He also used simple shapes which made important parts of painting. But most of them were in primitive and surrealist styles.
Andy Warhol: He was born in 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was always a good artist when he was younger his teachers recommended that he took weekend art classes. His family saved enough money for him to go to college for art at the Carnagie Institute of Technology, which is where he studied design and illustration. He started out doing illustrations for magazines decorating department store windows, greeting cards, record albums, book covers, and suns, clouds, and raindrops for television weather reports. He was not happy because he wanted to be famous but then his friends told him he should paint everyday objects which is when he started Pop Art.
Artist’s Name: Paul Klee

Title: Castle With a Setting Sun
Date: 1918
Description: all of the shapes in the painting and the colors makes it look very 3 dimensional and makes it look like a castle of some sort hence the title. You can also see a person and some pine tree placed in the painting which is incredible the way he fits all the stuff in there.
Analysis: Each different shape in the painting is very unique just by the colour and the angles they are on. Also the paint that was smudged in the background was very successful.
Interpretation: The key to the painting is the big circle it is the eye catcher in the painting it is the first thing that caught my eye. And all of the shapes connect to it and make it one huge painting and it all produces a wonderful painting.
Judgment: I believe this painting is a great piece of artwork I feel like a story can be told just because of all the perplex shapes involved in the making of the painting. There is a key to every painting Paul Klee illustrates you just need to find it .
Artist’s Name: Andy Warhol
Artist’s Name: Andy Warhol

Title: Marilyn Monroe Art
Date: 1960’s
Description: Crazy amounts of colors and different shades of them which make each photo look different but they are actually the same. That is how Pop Art works.
Analysis: The colors in all of the photos are so bright that even though they are the same picture they look like they are showing different emotions but in reality they are not one bit it’s just the way you depict it.
Analysis: The colors in all of the photos are so bright that even though they are the same picture they look like they are showing different emotions but in reality they are not one bit it’s just the way you depict it.
Interpretation: I feel like he was trying to show how she felt threw the last years of her life before she committed suicide you could really depict it anyway you want.
Judgement: In my opinion I believe this painting is very uplifting and I love the whole style of pop art and most of the paintings he has made I can not get enough.
- As you can see they kind of have the same style but in different ways but the colors they us make them look very alike and could cause them to have worked together but they were in different eras and they were not around the same things at the time. But I personally love how Paul Klee uses all of the shapes it just shows so much but Andy Warhol is nearly my favorite just the way he uses modern day elements.

Portrait
In my Portrait you will see the emotion showing how she looks depressed and how she just wants to be alone in her own little world. The lighting shows how she wishes she feels the purple on her feet shows the excitement like she wants to dance! Emotions are very strong in each picture and causes a big effect on everything in the picture.

Artist Inspiration
It looks like the tree line has a mirror image of it on the surface of the water truly a beautiful sight to see.
The photo shows the sunset on the water and the Silhouette of the man, net and fishing pole adds such peace to it such a relaxing photo.
You can see the wind blowing on the high grass and the light color of the grass shows the white glare from the sun.Wednesday, February 8, 2012
